In 2003 Martin Keating bought the London Music School and moved the premises to the old Sarm East Studios in Osborn Street. Today, London Music School still enjoys the success and atmospere the studios have to offer.
It was decided to return the studio to its original use as a music recording studio. The original look and feel of the studio remains to this day, with a warm vintage atmospere still present. When you walk through the doors, you know and feel instantly this is the place where so much history has been made in the past, and still continues to this present day.
Martin, an engineer and musician with over 30 years experience in the music industry, trained and worked as an engineer for Decca Records under the guidance of Butch Bannister. Butch Bannister was one of the top Engineers at Decca and worked as an engineer alongside Joe Meek. At the time Decca was the largest Label in the UK, Martin worked with legends such as the Moody Blues, The London Symphony Orchestra, Bernard Hermann, Camel and many more. Martin then moved to Morgan Studios where he worked with Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart and Donovan. Martin joined Bucks Music in 1985 at the very start of the computer music boom, and in 1996 joined London Music School.
